About Us

We specialise in emergency placements for children and young people, delivering immediate, short-term care at times of urgent need. When a child is at risk of harm, facing abandonment, or experiencing a sudden breakdown in their current living arrangement, we respond rapidly—often overnight or during weekends—without the delays typically associated with standard placement processes.

Our service is designed with flexibility at its core. Placements may range from a single night to several weeks, depending on individual needs and circumstances. During this critical period, our primary focus is to provide a safe, stable, and supportive environment. We help children regain emotional balance following distress or trauma, and where appropriate, offer therapeutic support to help them navigate uncertainty.

We work collaboratively with social services, families, and long-term carers to facilitate smooth and effective transitions into stable, ongoing care arrangements. Our role is to act as a compassionate and reliable first response—providing protection and reassurance while supporting a pathway toward long-term stability.

Every emergency placement is supported by dedicated management oversight. Our experienced Package Managers take a hands-on approach, meeting each child or young person personally to build trust and ensure their needs are understood. They remain accessible at all times, offering a consistent point of contact for support or concerns.

In addition, our Package Managers conduct regular in-person visits, oversee all documentation and reporting, attend care meetings, liaise closely with social workers and other professionals, and provide ongoing supervision to support staff. This ensures the highest standards of care, accountability, and safeguarding are consistently maintained.
